Your Question

[edit]

Hey. While I don't have many experiences with nav tables, the one you showed me was in a template. You can find more info about them here.

The one you posted on my talk page is at Template:Months if you want to see the syntax.

Basically, if you want the table just to be on that page you linked to me (European Hit Radio Top 40), you should just put the table right on the page. Now if you want it to be on every Euro Hit Radio Top 40 page (as a nav table at the top or bottom of the pages), you'd make it a template...say Template:EuroHitRadioNav, and then put {{EuroHitRadioNav}} in the pages where you want the table to show up.

Me, I'm not that good at tables so if you need specific help, I encourage you to ask somewhere else (maybe the Village Pump).

European Top 40 article

[edit]

OK, I see. I still think it should be deleted because Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information like which songs were on the top 40 list for this week. If you still disagree, I will take it to articles for deletion and we will have a vote on it. Recury 18:45, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Madonna Hard Candy cover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Image with no source

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your image was inserted successfully into Hard Candy (Madonna album), and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. - eo (talk) 22:49, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I was wondering if you could say where you obtained the image linked above. Ericorbit is unsure of its authenticity (see: User talk:Puchiko#re: Hard Candy). A simple hyperlink will surely clear up any doubts, so could you please specify the image source at the image description page or elsewhere? Thanks! Here is link where I put note from where i take this image [1]. --Digital1 (talk) 21:16, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. It is appreciated :) Puchiko (Talk-email) 12:10, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please amend the description of this image. There is no basis to say it is the cover for the album, or that Warner own it. It is from a fan-site (so unlikely to be real in the first place) and in any case, the website itself says that its images are only illustrative. This cover is based on a picture of Madonna taken about 5 years ago. JKW111 (talk) 12:53, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Madonna Hard Candy cover.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Madonna Hard Candy cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:36, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Number ones of European Hit Radio Top 40 (1995)

[edit]

I have nominated Number ones of European Hit Radio Top 40 (1995), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Number ones of European Hit Radio Top 40 (1995). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. --Wolfer68 (talk) 03:48, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Latvian charts

[edit]

Please do not add the Latvian charts, or any other charts listed at WP:BADCHARTS, to any Wikipedia articles. Thank you.—Kww(talk) 00:05, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you have anything that shows those charts to be an official, notable chart, that decision can probably be reversed. It got listed on WP:BADCHARTS because of the deletion discussion, and the people discussing it there couldn't find any evidence that it was an official, notable chart. I didn't participate in that discussion, but I agree with its result: I can't find news sites or other reliable sources that point to these charts as being important charts.—Kww(talk) 01:37, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Riga montage 2009.png

[edit]
File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Riga montage 2009.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:20, 7 July 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 02:20, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Riga montage 2009.png

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Riga montage 2009.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --–Drilnoth (T • C • L) 02:03, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
