This is for maintaining a high standard and accuracy on all hockey players articles on Wikipedia. We understand that your edit was in good faith and hope that you understand our objectives. Speedy deletion of Erik norpung

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Erik norpung, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Booglamay (talk) 15:30, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Philip Hellqvist

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Philip Hellqvist, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Philip Hellqvist. Speedy deletion of Roman Vasilyuk

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Roman Vasilyuk requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Notability of Paul Lindholm

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Paul Lindholm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. WWGB (talk) 12:21, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Russian footballer of the year, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. BanRay 22:59, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Djurgårdens IF season 2009

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Djurgårdens IF season 2009, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Individual season articles for such small clubs are not usual; place a summary in the article for the club itself

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hello. Your edit to the template was reverted.

  1. The now offical Russian uniform is red.
  2. FIFA recognised Russia as the offical succesor of the USSR so there should be at least some similarity with the USSR templates.

2009–10 Djurgårdens IF Hockey season

[edit]

Hi. I'm wondering why you felt it was necessary to re-add flags in the transfer table? It's kind of superfluous, and if anyone wants to know what nationality a player or a club have, it's just a mouse click away. Great work otherwise though! Cheers Tooga - BØRK! 20:01, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I still don't see the need for flags. It's all there in the roster which makes it pretty much pointless to show them. Per MOS:ICON#Inappropriate use flags and icons shouldn't be used excessively, so why do you feel it's necessary? Please give me reply, either here or on my talk page. Cheers Tooga - BØRK! 12:11, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that I didn't create the page means nothing, it's not your article either. See WP:OWN. Look, I do not want to put up a big fight about this, but I still think it's superfluous. Please, explain to me why it's necessary to have flags in the stats table when all the players are from the same country. As I said in my edit comment the roster is just beneath the table. In other words, there's no need to repeat information several times. That all I have to say. Cheers, and again, keep up the good work. (And please reply here or on my talk page, either in English or Swedish, it's so much easier to follow a conversation if you do. ) Tooga - BØRK! 21:19, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Dif joel! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 139 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
