Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Diazk3. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Inter-American Journal of Philosophy, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. [edit]When you add something to an article talk page or another user's talk page, and ideally your own talk page too for clarity, please remember to sign it: type ~~~~, or click on the "Signature" button on the editing bar. It helps everyone to see who's said what. If you don't, a "bot" will come along and do it for you, but it leaves you looking slightly incompetent, or at least absent-minded.
