Moved from my IP talk

[edit]

There needs to be a section added for The Rise of Icarus. Unless we wait until after its completion to add that information; I'm not sure of the procedure for new work being done on an existing place. I have a source for that information as well. Additionally, I'd like to change the wording of the brief description of the Atlantis area. It currently says "Children's play area" I would like to change that to simply "Water play area". And finally, The Almighty Hermes appears to be a former attraction so that needs moved into the proper category. I do have proof for that, it is no longer listed on the park map.

Welcome and advice

I saw that you recently created this username after having edited for some time as an IP user.

When you copy or move something from another page on Wikipedia, you are expected to give an attribution, which didn't happen here. Please see WP:COPYWITHIN for more details. It should be sufficient to link to the page in your edit summary, saying where the information was copied from.

Also, when making talk page posts, it's a good idea to sign your post by using the 'signature' button or using four tildes. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 22:47, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Jmcgnh: Same person, but I forgot my password so I'm moving things again. Not making this mistake again, but for transparency I'd like to also request my old account be blocked/deleted from Wikipedia as it cannot be used anymore. DiamondsAreRare1 (talk) 20:26, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to hear that. Password reset via registered email is the only password recovery method available. It seems you'll need to create a new username.
Accounts can't be deleted and, since nobody knows the password, there's no need to take any action with regard to the old account. I don't think an admin would be willing to block it without you being able to verify it's you - and you can't do that without being able to log into the account. Maybe, though. You could ask. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:33, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
