[edit]Hello, I'm 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Data-driven programming have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 06:44, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- @49ersBelongInSanFrancisco can you provide me the context on why the link was removed ? I'd like to emphasize its relevance, particularly in connection with Data Driven Development (DDD) as described on LogicBric's website. While the Wikipedia article highlights the programming paradigm's focus on data characteristics in program design, the LogicBric article illustrates the practical applications of similar principles in business decision-making and strategy. This synergy between theory and application underscores the importance of data-driven approaches in both programming and business contexts. Therefore, I believe this content is valuable and should be retained to provide a comprehensive understanding of the evolving role of data in diverse fields. - First, adding a new link is not a minor edit. You marked the edit as minor, which is incorrect for the reasons linked here. Second, there are thousands of articles about "data-driven programming" and the article you added as an external link is not a unique resource. Instead, it appears to be a very high-level summary that does not add materially to the article (under "guidelines" above note to avoid "the site should not merely repeat information that is already or should be in the article"). It's also suspicious that in your only two mainspace edits you've added two links to the same website and it suggests that you may have an undisclosed affiliation with that site. If you don't then no problem, but the goal of "external links" is not to be an exhaustive list of all articles written about a subject. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 07:10, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
Hi Dhrumilpatel9! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Generative artificial intelligence that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 07:10, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
