Looking for articles to work on?

Hello, Dfrankow. I'm SuggestBot, a bot that helps new members contribute to Wikipedia. Based on your previous edits, I have made a list of articles you might like to work on. I hope you find this useful. -- SuggestBot 23:17, 4 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi there. Everything I added to the article was from the references there; one of them was already on the article, I think, and the other three were new. There was alot of information in the two interviews, which let me get a sense of things, but basically I just distilled what was in the jazztrumpetsolos.com bio (which, I now see, no longer exists... oops!). Unfortunately for the research process, I couldn't even look at Payton's official site: the background music killed my browser every time I tried. I didn't have any previous knowledge about Payton, except that I've heard some of his music and not been amazingly fond of it, but I wrote an article about his father, a much less notable figure, and found it odd that the son's article was so short. - squibix(talk) 17:13, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Alternate set of suggestions

Hi there, a second (and last) message from SuggestBot. Several people expressed an interest in suggestions of articles that need work. Check out this set of suggestions that have stub, cleanup, etc. tags on them and please leave feedback about which set of suggestions you like better, and why. Thanks from ForteTuba. -- SuggestBot 23:21, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

Oberlin

I'm dropping you this note because you recently edited either the Oberlin page or its talk page. I'm planning to split out the list of notable alumni to a separate page and leave only a short list of "very notable" folks on the main page. Opinions are eagerly sought at the talk page as to who are the most notable. Thanks! Matchups 04:15, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Scott Yanow

I cleaned-up the Scott Yanow article in hopes that the NPOV tag be removed. What do you think of it now? Do you think in could be removed? Thanks. dq 01:10, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
