Creation of article

[edit]

I think your ready to create some articles now. I'd suggest finding a topic that you are interested at WP:Requested articles or just finding a subject your interested in that doesn't have an article. Be sure that it conforms to our notability guidelines and doesn't break any other laws. If you feel nervous you can use the Article wizard which gives you a step by step guide to writing the article. If you need any help writing it feel free to ask me and I'll help out. Mr. R00t Talk 23:07, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I removed your speedy tag on this article, which you tagged per CSD A3. WP:CSD states "Any article (other than disambiguation pages, redirects, or soft redirects)" may be deleted under this criteria, and this was clearly a valid Wiktionary link. If you have any questions regarding deletions or Wikipedia in general, feel free to drop me a line. --Fiftytwo thirty (talk) 22:03, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Average frustrated chump, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 16:49, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of drive-by tags are self-explanatory, but when an editor drops a POV tag at the top of a lengthy and complex article, especially one on a somewhat controversial subject, that editor owes others an insight as to why such a position is taken. If you don't choose to offer some explanation, I'm not going to feel much concern about choosing to revert the tag. BusterD (talk) 18:47, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I couldn't decide if the tag should be POV or essay-like. I'll leave a message on the talk page. Devourer09 (t·c) 18:51, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I have no doubt in your good faith, but the article covers a lot of ground. I'm sure other involved editors will want to be able to address or satisfy your specific concern. BusterD (talk) 18:53, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Of course. I was just being lazy and not making the changes myself and kinda strapped for time atm. Devourer09 (t·c) 18:56, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. A year ago you tagged the Comparison of open source software hosting facilities articles with {{cleanup}}. But I can’t find your reasons for doing so, neither in the history nor on the talk page. Can you please explain what you think should be cleaned up in that article, and write it down on the talk page there? Thank you. --Vasiliy Faronov (talk) 12:47, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't remember why I tagged it with cleanup, so I just removed that tag. A quick browse through the article and it looks mostly fine to me. Devourer09 (t·c) 19:49, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
