Drug testing

[edit]
Though there are still controversy regarding the matter as well as law suits ( put link here). Drug testing will still remain for the olympic skaters of 2020.

Even though there is a questioning of IOC ( International Olympic entirely) on how skateboarders will be able to preform since reported by ABC News roughly majority of the skaters are taking some sort of drugs and if they had to take a drug test. It has been reported that a good chunk of these skaters would fail. Not only might skaters fail the test but they might also end up turning away from the competition entirely. There is not a said Committee between women and male skater drug use. The IOC is aware of this issue and there isn't further information on how the issue was solved. Being as drug testing is a factor that takes place in the olympics. That being said the know of who will actually be competing is still unknown due to the fact who competes may still revolve around the topic of the drug testing entirely.

Location and Events — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dest Tiny (talkcontribs) 15:21, 24 April 2017 (UTC) The section on drug testing sounds a little bias in my opinion. Try to make it sound a little more neutral. Also i would try and add a little bit more about skateboarding in the Olympics why are they starting it now? How will it work? Do they have to do certain tricks? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dee moose (talkcontribs) 15:38, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Considering the information that you wrote i think you could add a bit more information if possible about the qualifications of the atheletes and how they will be chosen? Maybe add a little bit information regarding the rules. Aroojazaidi (talk) 15:46, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Event goals

[edit]

Event Goals

Each event is said to be timed. Judges will be looking mainly at the harder tricks preformed with in the time frame. No set time frame for each event has been yet given. Major factors displayed in these events will revolve around the skaters being able to keep balance through their tricks as when airing them and then landing the tricks after. Taking advantage of speed will be crucial as well as switching up some of the actual trips. https://tokyo2020.jp/en/games/sport/olympic/skateboarding/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dest Tiny (talkcontribs) 15:39, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
