Anthony Mitchell AfD

Good sleuthing. How did you turn those up? I'm always a bit chagrined when someone finds material I missed in starting an AfD! JohnInDC (talk) 23:01, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

I think I did a Google News search on "Anthony A. Mitchell", without the "LCDR" and "USN". I suspect it's still going to be a delete case though. If he was really as noteworthy as the creator of the article seems to believe, there would have been much more third-party coverage readily available. --Deskford (talk) 23:47, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

I tried several variations myself, including his name along with just "navy" but didn't find those. Ah well. That's why we discuss these - to turn up stuff that might've been missed. Thanks. And, yeah, these additional citations haven't changed my mind about him. I guess we'll just see how it sorts out. JohnInDC (talk) 00:08, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
