Friendly reminder
[edit]Just a friendly reminder that usernames that are a violation of the username policy should be reported to WP:UAA. WP:AIV is for users who are vandals (although sometimes if the username and edits both indicate the user is only here to vandalize then either will work). ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:02, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- The user in question was vandalizing on simple but I'll keep this in mind for the future. Derpdart56 (talk) 19:03, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- Ah, well in that case you should report the user to the appropriate place on Simple (or if there isn't one let an active admin there know, or if it's cross-wiki then meta:GSR or meta:SRG are approrpiate). But in this case it didn't matter since it was a very severe policy violation (which I see you've reported to SRG). ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:07, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- I figured I'd report it here too, just in case of x-wiki abuse. Derpdart56 (talk) 19:08, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- You can check if the user has made contributions on other Wiki's via their x-wiki contribs (which I've only been able to find by looking at the user's contribs from meta). So for example my global contribs are here (technically not located on any wiki but on toolforge which I think is still under the Wikimedia Foundation). ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:13, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
