Hello
I am the author of the book "Children of the mist" the official history of the Griqua people in South Africa. After 30 years of research including compiling a huge library of books - see links below you keep on removing my changes to the rubbish at the Griquatown Coin page suggesting they circulated.
Here are the links:
http://www.griquas.com (my book "Children of the mist")
http://www.tokencoins.com/griqua.html (The history of the Griqua online)
http://www.tokencoins.com/collect.htm (The unique collection of books, maps and documents I have established over my lifetime on the Griqua)
I would humbly request that you revert back to the information I supplied before I go over your head.
The detractors have their own agenda which has nothing to do with the truth.
Thank you
Scott Balson

-Hi Ronz, the link I used is to the web page of the South African Reserve Bank, which is the issuing authority of South African currency and the oldest central bank in Africa. I think this link is applicable in the context of the series developed and authorised by the bank in commemoration of the Griqua Town coinage.
