Should the first sentence be updated?

[edit]

Considering the latest de-wp developments, more people than me might view your English user page. Therefore, you might consider changing the claim that you are an arbcom member in the German Wikipedia, and possibly add either some comments on what is going on, or a short sentence explaining that you'd prefer not to comment.

Regards, JoergenB (talk) 15:25, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for remembering me, I'll update at least the first sentence. With the best wishes for the new year, DerMaxdorfer (talk) 21:14, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As I added in the new version, everyone can feel free to ask me anything and to write me on my discussion page. I don't think that I need to add a complete statement on the new arbcom developments at the user page - if there are some questions, I'll try to answer them of course here on the discussion page. --DerMaxdorfer (talk) 21:41, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Fellow Archaeologist

[edit]

Hey there fellow archaeologist. I will be focusing my efforts on the archaeological side of Wikipedia and as you are a fellow archaeologist yourself I will be following you closely here on the English as well as on the German side of Wikipedia. Although except for factual corrections you shouldn't expect too much from my German. I hope keeping up with each other will keep us in line to create the best articles we can. Dondville (talk) 15:58, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dondville, I'm nearly inactive in the English Wikipedia, so there will be not that much to follow here... ;-) But of course, we always need the international contact to create good articles – so your corrections in the German Wikipedia will surely be read by Germans who can correct the language if necessary. What you write on your User page is true, the systematic articles on archaeological topics are very weak in many cases – so it's great that you want to focus on this problem. Kind regards, DerMaxdorfer (talk) 17:28, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Marcommanic Wars

[edit]

Begrüßungen DerMaxDorfer - Thanks for adding that reference to the Reallexikon der Germanischen Altertumskunde work on the Marcommanic Wars.

:) Mach's gut. --Obenritter (talk) 15:06, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
DerMaxdorfer (talk) 18:29, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Jepp -- dazu hatten Sie recht.
Viele Grüße, DerMaxdorfer (talk) 19:44, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
