FORECON insignia

[edit]

Is there a legitimate reason why you copy/pasted the Force Recon insignia, the exact image that I have created many years ago; with you uploading it and claiming it as your own original work? And you're also stating that it was made by a U.S. Army soldier? Are you freakin' kidding me son!?

Yeah man, I made a vectorized scaleable picture. This picture was made by me w/ inkscape and the author of this picture is the U.S. Marine Corps, dumb a**. Depthfield (talk) 18:53, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You're a person with a smart ass mouth. I can understand that you wanted to have a scalable version..the original is quite large...which I fully intended. But, what was wrong with the original? Couldn't you just had scaled the original down using ###px scripting? Instead of making a duplicate of mine.

Just in case, maybe you didn't know how to scale down images using CSS format...I'll illustrate.

Here is an example of how to scale down images...I'll use the "original" image that I created in 2008.
This imagery of the insignia above...is the actual "original".

And you're correct...the author of this is the Marine Corps. I designed this while in the Marine Corps for the purpose of re-editing old insignia that seemed graphically outdated..I was with 2nd Force Recon. I posted this on wiki with GNU out of humbleness. Now, due to your lack of intuition and respect, this forces me to change the license on the original. I'm taking this to the wiki community for possible issue of involving conflict of authorship.
