Smalllville
[edit]Please do not change sourced content to misrepresent what they are saying. Mark Snow clearly states that the portion that he uses for Smallville is from the opening title sequence. What you are changing it to is not a representation of what is sourced. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 20:14, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
The song that's played when Clark first meets Christopher Reeve's character in 'Rosetta' and in the season 2 finale is "The Fortress of Solitude" by John Williams, not "Planet Krypton" like the article says. I would not have changed it if I didn't know for a fact that I was right, and even still personally verified all of the information. I thought the whole purpose of Wikipedia was so that collectively, we can get all of the correct information out there? DennisR1283 (talk) 20:54, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
- Read what it says please. It says that Snow used that sequence for parts of "Rosetta" and the season two finale. It does not say he used it for the part where Clark first meets Dr. Swann. He's merely identifying that it was the episode Reeve appeared in. The opening credits to Superman were used in both "Rosetta" and the season two finale at different points, just as "The Fortress of Solitude" was used. The only difference is, Snow does not talk about using "The Fortress of Solitude" in the source, thus you are inserting your own observations into the article. The source does not talk specifically about the meeting between Welling and Reeve, it talks about the episode in general and using the iconic Superman theme music, not the "Fortress of Solitude" music. Read what it says please. It says it uses "the score from the Krypton sequence of the opening credits"(which isn't used in either episode) it does not say that it uses Williams' score "Superman" in both episodes. I understand that's not what is said in the Season 2 companion, that's why I inserted what I know to be true after the source is referenced, so as not to misrepresent what was said. There must be a happy medium here so we can get the correct information out there.
