[edit]- No. I have global account and any time I visit one of these language wiki's even for a picture or by mistake an account gets created in that wiki. I don't speak anything like thatsarindam7 (talk) 11:22, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Tip of the day. Communication goes on "talk pages" and not on "user pages." "user pages are for users to use themselves. Keep up the good work. See you aroundsarindam7 (talk) 11:25, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Other tips: I was going through your edits and I have noticed these things that you need to improve on:
- Correct spellings - check for typos before saving. Use a browser that has a built in spell checker though regional :variations of spellings may exist.
- Add categories to your pages or any page that lacks it. Check your page on Rakaw that I edited.
- You can correct other errors like I have done in Communications_in_Belarus#Telephone_system. In headers, capitalize the first letter. (compare page history between the last edit - I know its not your mistake, just explaining - and mine)
- You must provide "edit summaries" (the slim wide box below the edit window in all the edits that you make. Its just good wiki-manners. (I didn't do this myself for a long time before I realized my mistakes)
- You can edit the layout of pages to make them look better as I have done in Brest,_Belarus. Compare editions in the page history to see what I have altered. Pays well to know a bit of HTML or script(I don't know)

- Oh,great thanks for your tips!My answers )) :
- I know that communication goes on ″talk pages″,but your ″user page″ and ″talk page″ were blank.I have simply mixed.
- Correct spellings - I will be more attentive.
- Layout of pages - it's hard for me,but I will try.
- My favorite browser is Opera.Do you know about it?
- Oh,great thanks for your tips!My answers )) :

- Thanks.
- Early slips are common and its ok.
- No, I do not know about opera - heard of it though.
- I placed my babel on the talk page so that I can keep the User page as blank as possible as I have basically left the project (Project edits) and I am going to be here to help you adapt to wikipedia. I have had a Wiki burnout. I have been editing pages pointlessly to such an extent that it has become an addiction now affecting my own work. So I decided to quit to deaddict myself. I requested that my user and talk pages be deleted so that I could effectively stop. I will still be here but I will refrain from making any project edits for now.
- Fixed your user page as you asked.
- Layouts - don't worry, just read the edit page formats and you will be doing these seamlessly in a few months. Its hard for everyone at first. Don't forget, you are just staring off, Hey, I've been here for about 7months and I still make mistakes.
- Another tip: Just copy-paste formatted pages and replace information areas to create a new page! You get the layout for free. :-). That's the way you "learn" fast!!

Let me know so that I can completely close my account. Thankyousarindam7 (talk) 10:52, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called DenisGavrik. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name DenisGavrik~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:45, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
