Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article US-PLO dialogue, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:US-PLO dialogue. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Complete Idiot's...Iraq books
[edit]Please see Wikipedia:Notability (books) before continuing to make articles on these books. You're leaving hardly any viable information. Take the time to check out Wikipedia:Article development to write a good article that won't be deleted right away... -- Scientizzle 06:32, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
book articles
[edit]Dendoi, I just proposed deletion of your book articles, such as The complete Idiot's guide to the Middle East conflict third Edition. I'd suggest that you only write articles on books that are more notable, like From Beirut to Jerusalem (the article for that book is in serious need of expansion). If you want to delete those book articles yourself, you can just tag them with {{db-author}} and an admin will actually delete them. Cheers!--Kchase T 06:39, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary
[edit]Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Noam Chompsky's nonscense. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. NawlinWiki 04:23, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to create inappropriate pages such as Inacuracies of If Americans Knew, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NawlinWiki 17:30, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

sign
[edit]As a courtesy to other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, and WikiProject pages. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info, read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you. Travb (talk) 06:23, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I prefer to discuss certain edits in private. If you would, you can go onto my user page. You can specify your email address under "my preferences", which will not be shared or disclosed with the public. That way, either you or I can email from Wikipedia. Thanks, and again welcome. --Shamir1 09:26, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Imam Falujii, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, your recent edits to Palestinian propaganda have been reverted as they could be seen to be defamatory or potentially libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Finngall 05:28, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Notability of Zohair Hamdan
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Zohair Hamdan, by 650l2520, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Zohair Hamdan seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Zohair Hamdan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Zohair Hamdan itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 23:17, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Islamic Zionism
[edit]Hello. I am RS1900. Please provide proper source for 'Islamic Zionism'. And, please add more information. I have corrected few errors. Thank you. RS1900 05:40, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- And, I have also corrected some grammatical and spelling errors. Good luck! RS1900 05:45, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
This article, based on an interview in Frontpagemag.com, seem to refer to exactly one person (whom you do not refer to by the right name, you call him "T. Hamid") ...The Frontpagemag.com article rightly calls him Sheikh Prof. Abdul Hadi Palazzi,.....who already has an article here: Abdul Hadi Palazzi. I have therefor made a redir. [edit]Notability of Benyamin solomon
[edit]A tag has been placed on Benyamin solomon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Alexf42 19:05, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
