Good job

A tag has been placed on Article link requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hello

As getting used to Wikipedia can be a bit hard at first, here are some tips in Article creating: Wikipedia:Article development. And if you want to test things out, you can try the sandbox. Hope this helps you in the future. :) -WarthogDemon 04:31, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Linking articles

[edit]

I've corrected it, you may want to take a look at how it looks now on our page (here) and also at the guide to Wikipedia:Linking. Keep trying - you have made a good start! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:36, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Review of your draft

[edit]

Please note I've left your group comments at Talk:Stay-at-home_dad#Educational_Project_Editing. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 03:23, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The point

[edit]

You're kinda missing the point of a wiki if you don't want other people to edit your pages. Most of my changes were stylistic and brought the page into greater compliance with the WP:MOS. I even added some content from another of WP's articles. I will avoid making further structural changes however. --Cybercobra (talk) 20:35, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dena, please take a look at our assignment page, important tips: "We don't own the articles". Those external links were somewhat problematic, as Dmies noted in his edit summary here, directing you to Wikipedia policy of Wikipedia:External links. I suggest that if you disagree, you raise the issue on talk of the article, where interested editors can discuss whether given links are helpful. Do rest assured that I appreciate your efforts to improve the article, and learning about usefulness and reliability of external links is a good skill to have. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 22:42, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Here's a useful trick for you: [1]. This combines same references into one. I am assuming this is what you want? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 22:42, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Stay-at-home dad

[edit]

The article Stay-at-home dad you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Stay-at-home dad for things needed to be addressed. Nikkimaria (talk) 22:46, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, glad I could help. Anyways, it might be easier if you reply directly on my review. You do this by editing the review, asking questions by using a colon to indent your reply:
  • My example comment
Your example reply

(edit the section if you're not sure how I did that). You can also check off completed tasks either by striking them out (like this: <s>text</s>) or by adding the  Done (see Template:Done for more options). I'll make sure to check back there often, as it's on my watchlist. Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 04:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think this edit might've done something weird, as the colonial section kind of disappeared...Anyways, I've added some more worldview links on the talk page if you'd like to take a look. Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 20:55, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Stay-at-home dad

[edit]

The article Stay-at-home dad you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Stay-at-home dad for eventual comments about the article. Well done! Congratulations, Dena. You put a lot of work into this one. Feel free to pass this message along to the rest of your group. Good luck on your exams, and I hope you come back and edit here once in a while. Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 02:31, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Nikki! Seriously couldn't have done it without you!!!
