Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Powerbirds moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Powerbirds, after removal of a significant copyright violation does not have enough ar too little content on an upcoming series to remain publish. It needs more content from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. AussieLegend () 18:44, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Demond Anthony, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Draft:Powerbirds have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. AussieLegend () 19:04, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Thank you for telling that I promise I will follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate.Demond Anthony (talk) 20:18, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source/license for File:It's Pony.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:It's Pony.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 14:46, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

FIlms in development

[edit]

Please don't add films in development to lists like List of Columbia Pictures films, until they at least enter production. It's not uncommon for film projects to be developed but never enter production; we don't need to violate WP:CRYSTAL. Thanks. Trivialist (talk) 23:50, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Powerbirds

[edit]

I have reverted your inappropriate move of Draft:Powerbirds to Powerbirds. As you are aware, it was rejected at AfC on 5 January 2019. It does not matter that the series has now premiered, it still needs to be ready for publishing. The article was inappropriately moved by another editor only 5 days and was moved back to draft because it was not ready. The draft is currently submitted for review. Please let the process continue and do not move it again. --AussieLegend () 03:29, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And you can't get around AfC rejection by creating a duplicate copy of the article with a different name, as you did at Powerbirds (TV Series). Trivialist (talk) 22:07, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Trivialist Thanks For Noticing about it, I won't do it again. Demond Anthony (talk) 22:10, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I actually requested create protection of Powerbirds because it had been recreated multiple times due to inappropriate moves from draft space, which is why you couldn't create it there. Just let the review process run its course. --AussieLegend () 06:22, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Powerbirds Images.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. AussieLegend () 14:34, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
