Hi Deltasquared, first of all, good job on the standardising of articles - however, you need to be a bit more careful with regards to editing references, you've left Series Three in a bit of a mess. As far as the disambiguation links are concerned, as per the Manual of Style, "see also" sections should only be used where there is a chance the reader will be confused as to which article they need. It is likely that readers will end up at the main article, and not know there is an entire article on the current series (which most people will be looking for). In the case of the individual series, the disambiguatory brackets give the reader an obvious indication what the article is about, hence no one should technically arrive at the wrong article. Not only that, but it looks cluttered - and would only get even more cluttered as more series pass. Seaserpent85 11:09, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

We'll leave the "see also" links there then for the time being :) Me and Fritzpoll have been trying to sort out standardising the articles for a while now, would be great to have you on board too. Good luck with the dissertation too - I did my dissertation last year, funnily enough I did engineering as well! I was in exactly your position last year, I did a couple of edits here whilst procrastinating from revising and then got hooked! Seaserpent85 14:42, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Hope the dissertation hand in went okay! To avoid cluttering up your talkpage, I've replied to your questions on mine - talkpages on here frustrate me, I wish there was a way to avoid the constant to-and-fro-ing! Seaserpent85 22:52, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
That's ok, I just archived last month's discussions so you aren't cluttering anything. I've replied to some of your items on your page. δ²(Talk) 13:36, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Re: Userpage iconsets

Hi Delta, looks really good! You seem to have all the coding done correctly, and everything links to the right places. As for the image, the code you need to make it link to an article is {{click|image=IMAGE NAME|link=ARTICLENAME|width=WIDTHpx}}, and for the specific image you have on there currently, it would be {{click|image=Futuroscope-panoramique2.jpg|link=Futuroscope|width=1000px}}. One thing I did notice is that the image goes off the side of the page in smaller resolutions, so that's up to you whether you want to make it smaller or just leave it as it is (as I'm presuming it looks fine in your resolution). Is there anything specific you'd like to change - colour, formatting etc.? I can point you to the relevant bits of code if you need any help with it. Seaserpent85 12:11, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for your comments and the thanks. SimsFanTalk to MeCommons 21:05, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

GA Nominations

Hey Delta, hope you are well. I've just noticed you've nominated the first two series of The Apprentice for GA - hate to tell you that there is no way they will pass in their current state, in fact they'll probably get quick-failed due to their massive lack of sources. It usually takes a couple of weeks for nominated articles to get looked at, so there's a chance we could bring one up to scratch in time - though I do remember how long it took just to get Series Three up to GA. If it helps, I've done some GA reviews in the past so I could do an informal one for this (I say informal as I wouldn't actually be able to pass the article myself, due to being involved) when I get a spare moment, from which we can create a to-do list... and there's still quite a bit to do in each of them! Let me know what you think. Seaserpent85 00:46, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Just so you've something to start on, I've done a brief review of the first series - see it here. There's no way near as many reliable sources available for the first series, so expect it to look a lot more streamlined than the third! Seaserpent85 01:41, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

The article The Apprentice (UK Series One) you nominated as a good article has failed , see Talk:The Apprentice (UK Series One) for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of said article. If you oppose this decision, you may ask for a reassessment. I have failed The Apprentice (UK Series Two) as well. Both of these articles need a lot of work before they are brought to WP:GAN again. Ice Cold Beer (talk) 00:57, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
