Hi. {{spa}} is for tagging single-purpose-accounts in debates (such as WP:XfD, WP:RfA and so on), as I mentioned in my previous edit summary. Taken from WP:SPA#Handling and advice:
- "In communal decision-making, single purpose accounts suspected of astroturfing or vote stacking will sometimes have a tag added below their name, as an aid to those discussing or closing the debate. Please do not take this as an attack on your editing, some users just find it easier to discuss issues when it is clear who the new editors are."
None of that applies to the talk page post you added it to. A huge number of editors (myself and yourself included) make their first ever edits on a talk page. This is a legitimate use of accounts. Dreaded Walrus t c 15:01, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
MLS Philly 2010 nickname
[edit]Your assumption that the team won't start 'til 2011 is incorrect and baseless. The team will start in 2010, and anything saying otherwise is an unfounded rumor. Also, nicknames aren't official, they're de facto; it's what the fans call the team. The "Bronx Bombers" is not an official name of the NY Yankees, but it's universally recognized.JaMikePA (talk) 09:04, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Re: Emulsion Polymerization picture
[edit]Thanks. I simply took the picture from here, and I translated it on italian language (File:Emulsion Polymerization Cartoon it.svg). The original author released it into the public domain, so I think it isn't protected by copyright. --Aushulz (talk) 00:26, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
