Re: Political Participation

[edit]

Hi Sonia! I'm not actually mentoring students from your class but I'd be happy to answer any questions regarding your assignment and how to navigate Wikipedia (e.g. article format, structure; how to cite sources; what sources are acceptable; tone and style of article; etc.). Just drop me any questions on my talk page :) —Yk Yk Yk  talk ~ contrib 18:03, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Survey

[edit]

Hi Dejas1!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! We are both here to help and look forward to working with you! Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy) 07:46, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:TASSC Logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:TASSC Logo.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:06, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sonia! I went through and cleaned up the above referenced article. At this point, however, notability has not yet been established. In order to remain on Wikipedia, organizations required significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Are you able to continue working on the article to secure its existence? Let me know if you have questions. Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy) 14:19, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
