Notice at the top of my user page/user talk
Just letting you know that I find it quite complimentary when people call me Doug. But it is a little confusing, hence the notice. :-) --Dweller (talk) 11:37, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
Draft RFC
Thanks for the reminder. It turned out to be unnecessary because another editor had less patience than I did and started their own RFC. The user in question was banned by Arbcom after the RFC failed to bring an improvement in their behaviour and a RFA was opened. I'll delete the page. Mjroots (talk) 18:05, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
Steven Zhang's RFA
Regarding my oppose vote at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Steven Zhang, I won't comment at length because the discussion has closed and it would be unfair on the candidate to protract the issue. However, I accept that I worded badly that part of my comment that related to "nomination shopping". I respect you and Pedro (to whom I have also posted this message), and I did not at all mean to imply what it appears I did. Regards, AGK [•] 22:54, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
Julius Caesar
I'm somewhat perplexed about what it is you want done to the article on Julius Caesar. The copyediting tag mainly indicates "mechanical" problems such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, faulty sentence construction, lax formatting, and so on. It also indicates problems with "cohesion" (whatever that means—I take it to mean logical organization, which I don't find lacking there) and "tone," meaning a non-encyclopedic tone. Could you be more specific on the talk page? Thanks. Cynwolfe (talk) 21:18, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I was in the middle of that when I got pulled away by real life, I'll leave details shortly.--Doug.(talk • contribs) 21:49, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
