Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.Birmingham Botanic Gardens
[edit]Great to see someone working on this page! It's been on my "to-do" list for some time (and is indeed almost the next item User:Peter coxhead#To Do). I'll keep an eye on your additions, so don't worry too much about technical Wikipedia stuff (I see you're a new editor). One point: you should, I think, add a note to Talk:Birmingham Botanical Gardens to say that you are editing the page and that you work there. See what I've put at Talk:Alpine Garden Society. Otherwise there could be a problem with the policy described at WP:PAY. Peter coxhead (talk) 13:10, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
