[edit]Hello, I'm DVdm. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one or more of your recent contributions to The God Delusion because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. DVdm (talk) 06:55, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to The God Delusion. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. - DVdm (talk) 07:04, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- Note- If you desperately want to promote your material, try proposing it on the article talk page. See wp:BRD. - DVdm (talk) 07:06, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

- What makes you think this point is promotional material? Did you read the book - God, Science, and Reality. Please visit any library to read the book and then you can judge for yourself. The book is in Library of Congress Archives also. The piece talks posted points out about how today man is trying to apply materialistic knowledge to spiritual areas and thereby missing the whole point. I am a responsible academic person and would never post stuff with out factual basis. Hope you can approve the comments.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Dearpinaki (talk • contribs) 07:13, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- Please sign all your talk page messages with four tildes (~~~~). Thanks.
- Even if you are not the author of the book—which seems unlikely, given your choice of username and your single purpose edit history—, please see wp:primary sources: when the book is referenced in the standard literature—and thus in wp:secondary sources—, it might become notable and usabable as a reference in our articles. A short mention in the article The God Delusion could then be appropriate. In any case, your best bet would then be to go to the article talk page Talk:The God Delusion and propose your addition. Don't forget to sign talk page messages with four tildes (~~~~). - DVdm (talk) 07:28, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
