Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Certified Business Manager, by Nehwyn (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Certified Business Manager is unquestionably copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Certified Business Manager, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 14:12, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of Certified Business Manager, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.apbm.org/pages.aspx/cbm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 17:45, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Certified Business Manager

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Certified Business Manager, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. -FisherQueen (Talk) 11:09, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

External links in article Business

[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Business. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --Foggy Morning (talk) 23:32, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. I will discontinue the practice.

Dcarafel (talk) 01:31, 13 March 2008 (UTC) Blatant advertising: I've reviewed the guidelines again and honestly don't conclude that the article can be construed as advertising. It is concise, completely factual and offers no opinion whatsoever on the value or status of the article topic. As such it is no different from the Certified Public Accountant and Master of Business Administration articles. This issue was raised and addressed in the Fall of 2007 when the article was originally created.[reply]

Conflict of interest: I am a Certified Business Manager and a member of the board of governors of the Association of Professionals in Business Management which is a not for profit organization. I am not employed by the association, do not receive financial compensation or have an ownership stake in the organization. I created the Certified Business Manager article to provide information on an important and relevant professional credential. I know of CPAs that contribute to the Certified Public Accountant article as I feel they should as they are most knowledgeable on the topic.

Removal of notices

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 03:22, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicts of interest

[edit]

As "a member of the board of governors of the Association of Professionals in Business Management" you do have a conflict of interest in dealing with the Association and its programs. --Orange Mike | Talk 06:45, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
