Bailey.t Feedback: Sahel drought
[edit]I feel that you did a nice job! The information you added helped this article; your contributions added more relevant information and fit well where you placed them.
I would suggest adding a note to the article's talk page about the sentence you found that did not have a source and quoted verbatim from wikipedia. Maybe someone else will be able to take a look at the information and find the original source.
I liked your contribution under “Early 20th century droughts.” I like how it starts to make a shift from the droughts to what happened to the ecosystem because of them. However, I feel like it would help if you added more specific information about what severe declines in biodiversity happened. I also feel like it needs more information about what other disturbances were caused, because you only listed fire. The sentence also switches tenses halfway through, which made it a little awkward to read. This is a very minor issue, and I would suggest fixing the sentence by changing "includes" to "included," and "is" to "were" in the parenthetical statement.
I feel like your contribution under “Potential contributing factors” was really good because it explained why the increase in atmospheric aerosols mattered. To improve it I would suggest linking the “University of Washington” and “Central Africa” to their respective Wikipedia pages in case someone either did not know what they were or wanted to learn more about them.
