September 2012

[edit]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 1953 in film, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 00:41, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at 1957 in film, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 00:42, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Marilyn Monroe filmography. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 00:44, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Betty Grable (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
added links pointing to Robert Young, John Payne, Coney Island (film), John Harvey and George Montgomery

added a link pointing to Robert Taylor

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Marilyn Monroe filmography, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Cresix (talk) 15:35, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Preview button

[edit]
The "show preview" button is right next to the "save page" button and below the edit summary field.

I've noticed that you've been doing series of incremental edits to various articles...do you know about the Preview button? If you need to test how an edit will appear, the Preview button is a Wikipedia lifesaver, it keeps edit histories from getting clogged up with a lot of little edits. Hope this helps, Shearonink (talk) 15:57, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are ASKING for a block

[edit]

Do you understand what it means to get a block? It means you cannot edit for the duration of the block. And if you add unsourced material to Wikipedia one more time, YOU WILL BE BLOCKED. Not three times, not two times -- add unsourced material one more time and you will be blocked. And each time you do so thereafter your block will be longer. You have been given more than adequate warning. Click all of the blue links above and read the policies. Cresix (talk) 21:53, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Falcon Crest. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Cresix (talk) 14:52, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Pickup (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:MOVIE (especially WP:MOVIE#Other evidence of notability).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sources

[edit]
  • Please use reliable sources when you add content to Wikipedia. Referencing for beginners has instructions on how to reference your edits. Also, there is a Citation feature available within the Editing window, the screencast window below explains the various features
This screencast (6 mins. 39 secs.) walks through how to use the various features of RefTools.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for persistent disruptive editing, as you did at Lana Turner. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
