- Note from blocking admin: [1], [2], and [3] (among other edits): all edits in pursuit of promoting your company and/or its financial interests, with a complete failure to disclose that you had a financial interest in the articles you were arguing to preserve. [4], [5]: you pursuing a battle with an editor with whom you have an off-wiki dispute. Wikipedia is not here for you to post promotional articles, and it's not here for you to fight your legal battles about whether or not someone blackmailed you. This is an encyclopedia, and you've shown no awareness of that purpose or interest in adhering to that purpose. A fluffernutter is a sandwich! (talk) 21:27, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
A few notes about privacy
[edit]Please be very careful when making any off-Wikipedia allegations about other editors. Per WP:PRIVACY, "Posting another editor's personal information is harassment, unless that person voluntarily had posted his or her own information, or links to such information, on Wikipedia. Personal information includes legal name, date of birth, identification numbers, home or workplace address, job title and work organisation, telephone number, email address, or other contact information, whether any such information is accurate or not."
If a group of editors are working in concert, their actions may be classified as abuse of multiple accounts, which can lead to all (or all but one) of the accounts being blocked. This can be done without knowing who the editors are outside of the Wikipedia environment.
That said, if you think the matter concerning the users' (alleged) identities really warrants action, I suggest sending an email to WP:OTRS. That way, the personal information isn't publicly exposed to all users. —C.Fred (talk) 04:13, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
- With respect to dealing with the problem editor(s): If it's true vandalism, warn the editor and report him to WP:AIV if he continues. If you think multiple accounts are being abused, file a report at WP:SSP. —C.Fred (talk) 04:15, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am the casualty of misunderstanding. This account was never used to spam, advertise or fight. All entries by us were factual. Our firm was sent emails by Yaratam demanding money and we notified the community on Kuru's talkboard. Why is this a violation of policy? We did not identify Yaratam by his real name after we were asked to stop, so we did comply with all requests. Please lift this block. DazzBand (talk) 21:16, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
Decline reason:
If you don't understand why your edits were not helpful in making a better encyclopedia, then you're likely to make similar edits in the future; therefore, keeping the block in place is a good idea. In addition, your use of 'us' indicates that this account is being used by more than one person, which makes it necessary to keep the account blocked. If any of you ever get interested in helping to write an encyclopedia, you'll need an individual account, and to avoid writing about your own company. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
