Speedy deletion of Jo Shin Ae
[edit]A tag has been placed on Jo Shin Ae requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. chrylis (talk) 03:52, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
FYI
[edit]Every1 is the name of MBC's cable network. Thus, "Every1" is part of the network name, not the show name. SKS2K6 (talk) 05:55, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for letting me know!--Daydreamer198 (talk) 06:32, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. Also, one other thing. If no other article exists with the same name (so in this case, Autumn Shower), there's no need to pre-disambiguate it. It can remain at Autumn Shower. I have requested the move already. SKS2K6 (talk) 19:52, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Hello My Teacher
[edit]A tag has been placed on Hello My Teacher requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Oli OR Pyfan! 05:36, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Copyright problem: Boy Meets Boy (film)
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Boy Meets Boy (film), but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://heavenswine.multiply.com/journal/item/10, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL), versions 1.3 or later then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Boy Meets Boy (film) and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or that the material is released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Boy Meets Boy (film) with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Boy Meets Boy (film).
It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Boy Meets Boy (film) saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:44, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for addressing this. There are also problems with Gangster High. Even though it may seem that official descriptions and press releases would be free for use on Wikipedia, I'm afraid this isn't the case unless we can verify that they are public domain or licensed compatibly with GFDL. Even many organizations that do not object to reproducing such material will not allow it to be modified, which is a requirement for licensing on Wikipedia. If you have copied text into any other articles that have not been tagged, please also revise these into your own words so that we can legally use the material. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:11, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Kara
[edit]I'm just letting you know I'm requesting to move Kara (disambiguation) back to Kara. I know you meant well, but Kara is way to common of a term (for people, for places, etc.) to be automatically redirecting to Kara (band). That's why the page was at "Kara (band)" in the first place. It would be a different thing if Kara was a well-known, very notable group throughout the world, but in this case...not quite. SKS (talk) 03:13, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hey...just wondering why you keep referring to the members on a first name basis. Unlike Girls' Generation, the girls are known by the full names, which means that per WP:BIO and MOS, the article must refer to them by their last name. Also, please add sources to the information that you're adding. The members section is pretty unsourced as it is. Thanks in advance. :) SKS (talk) 17:37, 11 December 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of 4 Tomorrow
[edit]A tag has been placed on 4 Tomorrow requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. mooooono 04:05, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Revolutionbackcover.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Revolutionbackcover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Morning Sunshine (talk) 15:46, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
