Image:Bowls d windsor.jpg is licensed as non-commercial use
[edit]If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Kelvinc (talk) 04:49, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
The image license template (which implies commercial use permitted) does not match what you wrote above it. Unfortunately, Wikipedia does not accept non-commercial use only images, as a policy position and because it is not compatible with the fundamental GFDL used for Wikipedia text. If you are concerned that your image may be used for commercial purposes, perhaps you can upload a smaller resolution version, which would be less useful, although I think generally Wikipedians would like to see more high-quality free content. :-) Kelvinc (talk) 04:49, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Wow it appears that an admin has deleted the image already. I didn't expect it to be that fast, though I suppose that's why it's called WP:SPEEDY. If you were going to change the license I guess you'll have to re-upload. Sorry about that. Kelvinc (talk) 05:02, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Davou. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Davou~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
