Nomination of Magnetic Tower of Hanoi for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Magnetic Tower of Hanoi is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Magnetic Tower of Hanoi until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. GB fan 12:58, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
- I put it in your userspace per request, though making sure it's to more varied sources than what's listed would be required before re-inclusion. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:17, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
Re: Magnetic Tower of Hanoi
[edit]The main thing I noticed, notability-wise, is that the sources seem to be for the Tower of Hanoi itself, the only ones that focus on the Magnetic one are by Levy himself. It's clear to me that you've put a lot of work into this, but I feel like a condensed version in the main Tower of Hanoi article would be a much better place for the information, rather than its own article. A further question though, is what is the title of the second reference? Is Concrete Mathematics the title and Addison Weekly the publication? If so adding pages or a month/week might make that a bit clearer. Wizardman 21:04, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
