Hi. Yes, I noticed too! Funny. Some guy had erased a lot of references in the article and I can't figure out why. How do you know this writer? Yeah, the guy is weird. I don't know much about Caron's philosophy, but I like his poetry and music. He is an incredible piano player. Gosh no, I had no idea there were some recordings! I wish I could hear him play, though. Caron's poetry and christian writings are deeply moving. After reading some of his philosophic works, I bought Pages (I'll have to improve my French some more before I read the long poems I've been told about, maybe you heard about them, they're called Le Chant du Veilleur). I'm not that found about twentieth century's French poets (Aragon, Cocteau) and maybe it's the reason why I was captured by Caron's style, because he has his very own way to allow us discovering a contemporary style of poetry while still being linked to past centuries' rhymes. It's a pity he's not as well-known here yet for his poetry. Let's hope Wikipedia will help some readers to go back to poetry: it's so sad to think young people are not interested in poems anymore. Anyway, I read a lot of poetry. I've just discovered a great Italian poet and I can't wait to go to Italy in September to walk in Dante's path. You mean in Pages ? Yes, it's a very good commentary. By the way, don't you think it's strange that some guy tried to erase most of Caron's biography and links to some sites -- that allowed me to know him better, for that matters?

I just had a look. You're right, it's quite strange. But there are a lot of riots on wikipedia, especially when it comes to living young artists and writers. You shouldn't pay too much attention to vandalism or you gonna turn nuts and not trust Wikipedia anymore. David, the evidence here is pretty clear. You've made edits that are really similar to those of Jeano BK. And this, your first edit here, is clearly not that of a new editor. Hi HelloAnnyong. To answer your questions: I'm a retired teacher of History, and a francophile. My wife teaches French literature in Stanford. We both met last year Jean-Yves Lacroix, who wrote a fantastic book about Thomas More's Utopia. He was awarded by the Academie Francaise. The exact category of the award in the Academie is "Prix Biguet" but the back cover says "Academie Francaise", not "Prix Biguet". Biguet is just a category. Saying about a writer he was honoured with "Prix Biguet' is sort of like saying about an actor he was "honoured by the AMPAS" instead of he "received an Academy award": it's weird and doesn't allow you to understand the importance of the award. When I created an account on Wikipedia, I was reading Maxence Caron's book Pages and I was curious about his biography: I had a look on the French Page, I saw there was a lot of fights, then I went to the English page and saw it needed some editing. I had a chat with a user who was also editing the page and seemed interested in poetry. Yesterday, after I wrote a little analysis of Mr Caron's philosophy and posted it, I was called a sock puppet and blocked. I probably made some mistakes (I'm not familiar with the WP language, I'm trying to learn) but again, I assure you I am not a sock puppet and have no connection whatsoever with "Jeano BK". I understand there is a lot of suspicion in French WP about this page and maybe I should not have mingled but the truth is that I don't know these "sock puppet" people. I wasted enough time answering your inexplicable suspicion and telling you that you're wrong.
