Unblock Request Notification
[edit]Hello, DavidWSBot! A user you have blocked, DonaldDuck, has requested to be unblocked, and your username is listed on my notification opt-in page. The unblock request is on his user talk page here. If you no longer want to recieve these notifications, remove your name from my list. If you would like to be notified about future unblock requests from this user, remove this template from your page. Thank you, DavidWSBot (talk) 14:55, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Interesting, your notification didn't show up with the usual orange banner, is that because of the bot flag it's got? That makes it somewhat less useful, shame. --fvw* 15:05, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- There's a way to 'turn off' the bot flag per-edit. I don't recall right now how to do it in SxWiki (It's been a while since I wrote that framework, or, done anything with it), but, I think I recall it being in the manual. SQLQuery me! 08:06, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
- Yarly, quite possible (I know how). However, I removed the minor part for the notifications and I think that has been working :) 2DC 20:00, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit]As a courtesy note, it seems as if the bot had posted numerous unblock notifications at user talk:Daniel Case regarding one user who has posted one unblock request. I removed the duplicates ... with a colourful edit summary to boot :O) Cheers seicer | talk | contribs 06:29, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- Whoa, I just got the same deal. It posted about 75 notices to my talk page about one unblock request. It's posting every 2-3 minutes or so. either way (talk) 13:22, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
