User talk:David.a.gelman/Mobivox Draft
I am a Mobivox employee who was asked to write and monitor a Wikipedia.org article entitled “Mobivox”about our company. While I acknowledge that only a cursory glance through the article does make it appear like advertising, a more robust investigation of the citations shows that the article is actually a faithful and strait forward summation of Mobivox and its practice. Simply put, I do not agree with the assessment that this article is not encyclopedic. The article describes what Mobivox is, where it came from, and how it works. Mobivox is worthy of having an article on Wikipedia because it is an intersection of several technologies as well as being an example of a contemporary telecommunications firm. I would also add that the article contains citations from the Financial Times, LA Times, the Economist, and Business Week. Mobivox has also been covered by the Chicago Tribune but that the article is no longer available online. I created this draft page not to circumvent its deletion, but because I was advised to do so by an editor so that I could have other editors take a look at it, as they recommended.
