Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:NatashaYi.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 06:09, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

About requesting free images

Please take a look at U:RFC. You must get the copyright holder to explicitly agree to a specific free content license, such as the {{GFDL}}. Thanks, ˉˉanetode╦╩ 06:32, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Unfortunately, yes, image copyright permissions must be really specific because of legal concerns. The best way to make sure that the photographs you uploaded do not get deleted is to follow the instructions at U:RFC: you need to get the photographer/copyright holder to agree to a specific free license (a really simple one is explained at [1]) and forward that permission e-mail to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Good luck and let me know if you need any help, ˉˉanetode╦╩ 06:42, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank you, and congratulations on helping Wikipedia procure free content! ˉˉanetode╦╩ 16:26, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

In light of new sources, I would compel you to take a look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Marin Creek. Thank you.W-i-k-i-l-o-v-e-r-1-7 (talk) 21:32, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

SR 118 (CA)

So Lady Galaxy, what's up? I hadnt talk to you for a while. Have you hear anything about the SR 118 west extension to SR 1 or whatever in Thousand Oaks? and SR 91 west extension upgrading the Artesia Blvd. into freeway to SR 1 in Manhattan Beach? I only know this might not happen, but I never hear the full story maybe is because the evironment or the business. This makes unclear to my mind. But frankly the 710 north extension to Rose Bowls in Pasadena is unlikely to my specs in my mind. The people is concern about the houses and elimination of trees, and parks.--Freewayguy (Webmail) 19:51, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Dont you understand my question? I'm asking if you know the excuse of not extending the SR-118 and SR-91. I only see it on 1983 Thomas Guide, or you honestly dont know. Try your best to answer this question. Thank you.--Freewayguy (Webmail) 22:42, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

I dont know why would he do this. The anonys is dumb anyways, he is probably from old sockpuppet of User:Artisol2345. I live in South Orange County, in community call Lake Forest, California. You ever hear about the 710 north extension battle? The problem about extending the 710 north is the worries of neighbours from extra pollution and elimination of 1000s of precious homes which is valuable to communities. This might never happen due to the strong resistance by South Pasadena and Rosemead. Over at South Orange County we have the SR 241 south arguements. This concerns brings to extra pollution of San Onofre State Park and the lands is green and valualbe in East San Juan. The vote 2/8/2008 denied over the project and this will probably not happen. They also pollute the lands to disrupt the natural habitats. The 57 (Orange Freeway) is also a issue in Central Orange County. The problems is shopping centers.--Freewayguy (Webmail) 20:00, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Freewayguy you are not telling the truth about the SR 118 westbound extension. Caltrans has no plans to do the extension and you should know better than that. --75.47.149.26 (talk) 00:55, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Please ignore the meassage from 75.47.149.26. I'm talking about the 710. I've also hear the problem my school principal told me the 710 north extension may also mess up the Cal State Univ. Los Angeles campus. I think is the extra pollution and noises bothers the college. I was told the 710 north extension is unlikely. Also they mess up the minour parks by Rose Bowls is in South Pasadena, California. By the way don't you work at weekdays. If you do what city you work Diamond Bar?, and what time you come home at 7?evening?--Freewayguy (Webmail) 19:46, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

I-710 north extension

I thought I-710 ends at Valley Blvd. And I thought is unlikely the I-710 will ever be extend to the i-210? You ever hear about the I-710 arguments, and hve you ever been on the I-710? I have a handful of times to East los Angeles. You know the I-710 use to be Highway 7, you was only too little when this happen; I wasnt even alive yet. You know anything about SR 241 South extension. The decisoin is unclear yet but people is trying to deny the project, because occupies too many green lands for natural habitats? I also hear from my principal and coach the I-710 can also cause damage to historical sites and parks and project is doubtful; thats what my school principal said. Can you answer this questions?--Freewayguy (talk) 03:04, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

You think they will ever extend the 710 north?--Freewayguy (talk) 19:46, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

South El monte

Isn't South El Monte an incorporate city or unincorporate community, becasue I have people telling me South El monte is not a city. South Pasadena is definitely a incorporate normal city like Diamond Bar, and West Covina vs. Covina actuually both of them is a city. Also South El Monte has same zip code as El Monte 91733. You ever been to South El monte in the past?--Freewayguy Msg USC 02:47, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Orange County, CA

you ever been to Orange County like Newport Beach, Fountain Valley, Costa mesa? Doesn't the 57 Frwy have alot of traffic congestion problem. Some people tell me sometimes going on 57 Frwy is pain in the butt. Isn't the 605 Frwy a little bit better than the 57 in traffic pattern?--Freewayguy Msg USC 02:58, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

You ever been on the 57 Frwy? Why your not answering it?Does it have alot of traffic congestion?--Freewayguy Msg USC 19:59, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Rancho Santa Margarita

you ever been to Rancho Santa Margarita?-in South Orange County? I thoguht it only been a city for like 8 years when they built the SR 241 Tollway. Can the city name fit over Italian and Portugese? The alternative name is Santa Margarita.--Freewayguy Call? Fish 15:49, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Rilakkuma

I'm curious about that aswell. There isdefinately a zipper on his back. If you go on the Japanese Wikipedia article about Rilakkuma there is several mentions of Rilakkuma wearing a suit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rachel asdf (talkcontribs) 20:44, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

Rilakkuma is a bear wearing a bear suit. If you read the picture books you can see many instances of Rilakkuma sitting around waiting for his bear suits (that look exactly like him) waiting to dry. Dfxdeimos (talk) 05:10, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

You voted in this AFD that I started. It is only fair to mention that there has been a substantial change to the article since I nominated it for deletion, in that it now has a release date and a title. You may or may not wish to rethink your vote.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for all your behind-the-scenes contributions to the Ayumi Hamasaki article; you seem to be an expert at catching all those little mistakes the other editors miss! Ink Runner (talk) 19:06, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

The Invisible Barnstar
I, Ink Runner, award Lady Galaxy with the Invisible Barnstar for her tireless contributions to the Ayumi Hamasaki article—something she doesn't receive a whole lot of recognition for! Ink Runner (talk) 19:06, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:NatashaYi.jpg, which you've sourced to http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=571973. I noticed that that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sdrtirs (talk) 00:04, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

You can find here all you need to send the email giving you permission to use and saying which it is. About those pages you showed to me, what I find there is only text and don't have a link to OTRS system, therefore it can't be verified. Regards, Sdrtirs (talk) 03:34, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

US 101/Downtown vs. Hollywood

Do you live off the 101 (Hollywood) Freeway? Sorry to say this but I don't like the Downtown very much, and I hate the 101 Freeway. I thought 101 and the 5 passing through Montebello, East los Angeles is always a big vitrol to travel through, and the 101 Freeway gets bad even through LA Valleys. I have family up around Los Angeles Valleys, on the way to Ventura. If I was going from Orange County to North Hollywood i wuld consider taking the 134 instead, and I do like the 134 alot better than the 101. The 405 is heck better than the 5 or the 101. Most people to Ventura from South Orange County takes the I-405 to US 101 instead of the I-5 and passing through Downtown LA.--Freewayguy What's up? 00:07, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

AfD

Hi, I noticed that you recently gave your vote on the AfD on List of United States presidents by handedness. The article has since then undergone significant changes. This is not an attempt at canvassing, but I would like to ask you to take a second look at the article, to decide if you wish to reconsider your position. Many thanks! Lampman (talk) 14:31, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Ayu...again

Yup, Ayumi Hamasaki is up for FAC again, so if you've got time, could you take a look at the article? It seems to be doing well so far, but it could always use your sharp eye for those errors that slip under everyone else's radars. Ink Runner (talk) 21:03, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi. I think your recent addition of links to "China", etc, in this article are OK, but that those to "television commercials", etc are unnecessary. Well, maybe I'm wrong; but if you do want to link to "television commercials" then please do it like this: "[[television advertisement|television commercials]]". That is, to the actual title of the article. (See this for more.) Thank you. Morenoodles (talk) 05:28, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
