You have deleted the information on the Courier Mail Server as spam, which it clearly wasn't. The information was not nonsense, it did not violate copyright and it certainly satisfies notability requirements.

Solectria Sunrise

Hi, you deleted my Solectria Sunrise article claiming it was an advertisement. It was not an advertisement. The article was of historical interest and I was gathering details to add to it. Please could you re-instate it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Evs2 (talk • contribs).

Pandaism

You recently deleted an article called Pandaism because it was blatant advertising. I don't believe that's correct, but you didn't flag it for it so I'm not blaming you. However, Bigwyrm suggested that I contact you for a chance to undelete it long enough for be to move it to a "personal sandbox". I wasn't finished with the article and was forced off of my computer by forces out of my control and it was marked for deletion within seconds. Bigwyrm also suggested that I ask for suggestions as to what I could do fix whatever was wrong with it. For either or both I would be most appreciative. Thank you. Justdd 01:17, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, I deleted the article not as spam, but for non-notability. If you can find more sources on it (see WP:NOTABILITY) it may be able to stand, but if there isn't much about it, especially since it is so new, it may not be able to stand. Status Update

Hey, I'm still alive. ;) I'm about to finish up my internship here in the next couple of weeks. This means I'll be internetless for about two weeks. :/ In Wikipedia news, I made my first honest-to-goodness edit today. Just cleaning up a bit of, I guess, vandalism? I was showing some of my colleagues at work that my small hometown actually has a page on Wikipedia. I discovered a really silly statement on the page and got rid of it. Unusual Adoption Request

Hi! Im an English teacher in Toluca Mexico (west of Mexico City). My Advanced B classes will be contributing to Wikipedia as the focus of their English course for Fall 2007. I am looking for people who would like to mentor my students (who will be working in groups) as they do the following assignments: Edit and article (adding a citation), writing a stub with a citation, translating an English language article for Spanish Wikipedia and for the final project, writing a full article for English Wiki (they can expand on the stub mentioned previously). What I would like to do is put a list of "mentors/adopters" on my talk page as a kind of short cut for my students, who have limited time to get things done. The semester begings Aug 6, but the real Wikipedia work wont begin until the beginning of Sept. If you would like to add your name to my list, please go to my talk page and add it there, perhaps with a short introduction, if you like.

Adoption Request and a Question

Hi, Darth! I noticed your entry in the "users accepting adoptions" section, and your interests coincide almost perfectly with mine (including RC policing). As such, I'd very much appreciate it if you'd adopt me, that I might learn more about helping out the wiki.

Also, something has been bothering me for a while. There's an inside joke all over the Wikipedia community about a famous vandal named "Willy on Wheels"; I've been trying to find more information on him, but when searching the site, found that Wikipedia denies he ever existed and I should ask someone about him. Thus, I ask. Who was he, and what did he do to articles?

Yay! Thanks for the adoption--judging from your activity and experience here ("This user created or significantly contributed to a featured article"==awesome), I expect to be an optimal contributor within...like...six months of tutelage (no pressure, really).

I do have one question for you regarding wikiprojects. I understand their concept, but how does one go about joining one? I looked at one of yours, Star Wars, and it seems like a "don't call us, we'll call you" exchange. Is that how it works most of the time? Also, I plan to pester you about things pretty reglarly. Is there somewhere I can do that without clogging up your talk page?

We collaborated on Meat Puppets, In Utero, "Touch Me I'm Sick", John Frusciante, and Zeitgeist (The Smashing Pumpkins album) during the past month. During the month of July, Sky Blue Sky, R.E.M. (band), "Monkey Gone to Heaven", A.M. (album), The Cure, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Wilco, Loose Fur, John Frusciante, A Ghost Is Born and Being There (album), a total of 11 articles, were promoted to good article status; a record month. We now have 33 GAs, out of a total of ~680 articles.

No you don't understand

He is not working with me, he has no interest in this article and only deltes my work, he has compiled a lsit on me a mile long, trust me he does not like me and is not working on this seriously. I mean c'mon the only thing he changed was my exact sentence. We have had several problems in the past, please look deeper. This is far more complicated. And he did not correct it, the way he worded is innaccurate, He has hounded me for the past week. He never ever was involved in this page Italian people or ever worked on it, until he started this feud with me. I originally wrote that paragraph and he changed it purposely to add that Italy was invaded as a cheap shot, he only revises my changes, he has no knowledge or interest in this subject, please see for yourself. He has a serious vendetta against me, please at least look in to it or send me a higher authority I can go too...Please I beg you, the last week I have been treated so inhumanely, I am seriously becoming deeply depressed by my treatment on here, I promise I am not exagerating and between him and JodyB and El_C they have treated me horrible, please at least look further in to this or give to someone who will. thank you(Scipio3000 04:23, 13 August 2007 (UTC))

Edward321 has had serious issues with me. I know it looks harmless but it is not. He did not change that sentence as a way to correct it. If him and I did not have prior problems or if he actually had interest on the subject and did work on it prior, I wouldn't complain. He only changes my work and today the exact sentence I wrote 5 minutes prior, he rewrites it, this is no coincidence and was not to help nor to improve it. I know at first glance it looks innocent but rest assured it is not. I assure you he has no interest in the article and is only hounding me.

But to be honest I am more concerned about the conduct of admin. JodyB. Who told me if I had a problem to go to him and not fight with other users. When I did that over Edward321 and user Mathsci who has sent me 3 messages scolding me for writing on his archive pages. So JodyB yelled at me and demeaned me and then disciplined me and accused me of purposely wrtiting on archive pages....why would I do that?? Wikipedia has so many links and more links and clutter, I can't navigate my way around all these rules and procedures and remedies.

Besides, JodyB is well aware of the problems of me and Edward321. He didn't even look into the problem and condemned me, but he knows Edward321 is messing with me. I have not been given a second chance after I made mistakes on here and no one is given me equal treatment...Please at least read what JodyB said to me in reply on my page. I just can't take it anymore for the past week I have been abused by El-C, JodyB, Mathsci, Edward321, Jdej, thesicilianist, it has been non-stop. I am bringing factual, referenced material to the table and I only want to do good work. It doesn't matter, I am taking a break, I can't even think anymore and I am incredibly depessed, I can't take it. This is far more complicated, but thank you anyways, but it doesn't matter, it is not worth getting deeply depressed over, my sun will still rise and fall regardless, so I am taking a break....I can't take this anymore, all I was doing was improving articles with facts and referenced material to back this up. I have a great deal of knowledge on my material and If I was given a chance without constant harrassment and condemnations from JodyB, El_C, Edward321, I would have created a superior and proffessional page that would have been of the highest standard, but I am not going to fight the world, because people are offended by facts. History is what it is, it is not to be changed or molded by personal views, beliefs, or propaganda. It can not be something it is not! The reason we are able to enjoy history today, is because previous generations felt it was imperative to pass down historical facts completely intact and with the fullest integrity regarding historical accuracies, names, dates and events. I am working hard on the Sicily article, last night alone I added 5 new sections and over 10 pics, On sunday I was working on this until 6 in the morning! I have the approval of 2 other Sicilians, Thesicilianist and Sicilianmandolin to make changes on our culture. he has changed sentences in sections, delted ones I wrote and even where I had cited material he rewrote those sentences too...Why is he allowed to plague me like this? He deleted a section I did because I din't cite it yet, I told one of the other people working on this I was taking a break, this is still WIP and I then feel asleep before I could finish the citations and fix up the rest of the article. I have tried contacting him several times to discuss our problems and resolve them with me and he refuses. This dispute needs to be resolve between us, I have minded my own business and he continues to harrass me and everything I do for the past week!

I don't see how someone like Edward321 who 1)has no knowledge of the subject material, 2)Is not Sicilian or Italian, 3) Never made any prior contributions to the Italian or Sicilian page until his vendetta with me and 4)Did not contact any of us working on it over all his changes he made. Look at the page now, the cuisine section is merged with the mafia and the sports, wine and olive oil are all gone. IT IS A MESS! All that work! I was not done yet and this was WIP..meaning today I was going to add citations and fixed up links, etc...the least he could do was notify me or ask the other 2 people working on this if it is okay to add sentences to sections and delete what I wrote. 3)and no I disagree with you, If someone does not KNOW the facts and history of our culture they should not be allowed to write whatever they want! Without consulting the 3 people working on this and that is why I have contacted the Italian defamation against Wikipedia...you refuse to help me after several, several request and pleas for intervention, so now I have brought in greater authority. If I was Black, Jewish or Hispanic you would never allow someone who had no knowledge of their history to make changes without consulting the 3 people working on this.

4) Please check Edward321 prior work and see if before this week he ever worked on any Italian or Sicilian pages before his vendetta with me...HE did not! This is why your wrong and the computer trail will show this..and where the Italian defamation league will see for themselves and they'll ask you why didn't you check?? why?

5)Did you check the page Sicily, to see the damage that has been done?? If he was helping it wouldn't be a mess now! look how the cuisine section is merged with the mafia, the sports section is gone too along with the wine and oive oil, the page is a mess!
