Welcome!
[edit]Hello, DarthOdious2002, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Seagull123! You might think that Wikipedia is near completion and doesn't need your help, but that's not true! Wikipedia may seem to be running smoothly on the surface, but we still have many backlogs and problems that need attention, and I would like to thank you so much for helping out. Here are some pages to guide you!
- Introduction and The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Markup guideline (it may seem daunting at first, but it's actually quite easy!) and Simplified Manual of Style
- How to edit a page

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Mark Noble. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 19:27, 28 July 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Dimitri Payet. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The article Robbie Cowling has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Photographs of Robbie Cowling
[edit]Although we don't normally solicit photographs here on WP there is a chance that you can get one from Robbie now that he has a WP article about himself. He appears to be very computer literate and will understand why we need a 'free' image of himself in order that we can add it to the article (providing he likes having an article about himself). As he doesn’t appear publicity shy, he 'may' welcome having his hansome mug-shot (of his choosing) added to the article. Being computer literate he should be able to email in a OTRS and upload an image or two... without braking out in a sweat. My thinking is, that should you email this request to Colchester United F.C. They will be be willing to run this idea past him as they too have an article. It will raise both their public profiles. Let me know if you follow this idea up. Aspro (talk) 00:10, 25 June 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Mike Ashley (businessman), you may be blocked from editing. Govvy (talk) 19:47, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Mike Ashley (businessman), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Govvy (talk) 19:48, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
The article Robbie Cowling has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
no apparent notability -- a borderline notable company and a 4th level football team is not justification for an article.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DGG ( talk ) 18:36, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Shamal George article, but I have found one and added it for you. Please try and remember to include sources yourself with future edits. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 11:36, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
Released players
[edit]In the English system, contracts end on 30 June (so players leave clubs on that date) and begin on 1 July (so players join new clubs on that date). Please wait until those dates before editing. GiantSnowman 07:27, 14 May 2022 (UTC)

CS1 error on List of Colchester United F.C. managers
[edit]Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page List of Colchester United F.C. managers, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 02:44, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 10
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited You Should See Me in a Crown, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Agatha All Along. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
