Request reason:

the three IP addresses of my server (213.239.218.239, 213.239.218.252, 213.239.218.253) fall under the net-block 213.239.192.0/18, which is obviously to general. – Those three addresses will be long-term “owned” by me (I pay for them monthly) The first was already under my control for years, the latter fell recently under my control. – The given reason for the block (“open proxy”) is ambiguous (what proxy? http?) and only sensible for IPs seen as such. I doubt the whole range was running open http proxies. In any case: I didn’t run any, nor do I now, nor have I intentions to do so. Darten2 (talk) 06:00, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Block corrected to only affect unregistered users, and blocking message corrected to point out that this is a colocation provider and webhost and not necessarily running any open proxy. Webhosts are routinely blocked from editing on Wikipedia to prevent abuse by vandals who have been blocked on their home IPs from getting new IPs to mess with.
