Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Steve Wyrick. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. The material you added appears to have been copied form another source, such as a web site, and likely violates copyright laws. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 07:58, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Darlene, the problem is that while you (or more correctly Steve, I would guess) holds the copyright to this material, Wikipedia does not — and this material appeared on Wikipedia. If you want to use this material as written, you would have to freely license Steve's web site under the GFDL. But that would not solve another problem, that being with Wikipedia's conflict of interest policies, which basically says that you should not be writing about a subject with which you have direct involvement. I would call being Steve's marketing director a pretty clear example of direct involvement. Probably the best thing to do to solve both problems would be for me to rewrite your material, making it a bit less promotional in nature. You can take a look at it then, let me know if there are any errors, then go from there. I'll try to find some references from reliable sources to help the article out — I'm sure I can find something Norm Clarke has written about hi. in the R-J.
Wish I was I Vegas now watching Steve's show. It's been three years since my last visit to LV, and I have a big hankering for the seafood buffet at the Rio. Plus I haven't seen the PH since the conversion from the Aladdin. Man, I miss Vegas. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 04:37, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
