Speedy deletion nomination of Reactive Doze (RD)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Reactive Doze (RD) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please have a look at WP:MUSIC. You tube is just not enough. There are just a few google hits and no reliable sources. M0RD00R (talk) 15:39, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Reactive Doze has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.youtube.com/user/reactivedoze (matching the regex rule \byoutube\.com). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 11:31, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Notability of Marco Auciello
[edit]You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
The article Marco Auciello has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. —C.Fred (talk) 03:37, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Reactive Doze
[edit]Hi. Thanks for the talk page message contesting the deletion of the article on Reactive Doze. Unfortunately, to avoid this article being deleted it needs to show how the band is notable, and to do that using reliable sources. I'm glad they donate to charity, but that's not notable enough for a Wikipedia article. Nor is being nominated for an Australian of the Year award, given the reality that anyone can be nominated for any reason. Winning an Award might be notable enough for inclusion, but simply being proposed by a member of the public isn't.
This isn't meant to sound unfriendly, but as you've created the article a couple of times I thought I'd explain why it gets deleted and suggest how this can be avoided if you are planning on creating it again. Let me know if I haven't explained the problem clearly enough, or if I can help in any other way. Euryalus (talk) 09:37, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. This happened because you replaced the RD article (which is a disambiguation page) with article content. If you would like to create a new article, please follow our naming conventions and, if you're not too sure about doing it, visit WP:Your First Article. Thank you.
