Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of rampage killers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Longhua. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

How many people died in this incident, you said 15 were killed, but when i read the article it sounds like he killed 9, and police killed 13. Can you explain what the article says? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elhiggins (talkcontribs) 16:16, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of rampage killers (other incidents), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Taoyuan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Regarding changing Hong Kong, etc. to China

[edit]

I have reverted your changes on the List of rampage killers and sublists changing Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan to China. Hong Kong and Macao were both under foreign administration until 1997 and 1999, respectively, and those cases that you changed occurred when they were under foreign administration. While China claims Taiwan they have no actual jurisdiction over the island and Taiwan has a separate government. There were three other countries that were divided like this. Korea is divided into North and South Korea, Vietnam was divided into North and South Vietnam, and Germany was divided into East and West Germany. Seeing as the List of rampage killers and sublists also write down the cases that occur in South Korea, South Vietnam, and West Germany as taking place in South Korea, South Vietnam, and West Germany, not Korea, Vietnam, and Germany, it does not make much sense to change the Taiwan listings but not the others. -- Millionsandbillions (talk) 17:39, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
