I reverted this item from bird and birdwatching, since it is not specifically about birds, is N America only, and amounts to an advertisement. There are many specialist bird publications, and they are not listed on those pages either.
I appreciate your good intentions in trying to find links for the page, but it doesn't really fit here.
thanks, jimfbleak 07:20, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]Thank you for your vote on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bill O'Reilly controversies (second nomination).
Multiple edits
[edit]Please try combine your edits into one, rather than flooding the page history with unnecessary edits. This is especially important for templates, where every edit causes a significant load on the servers as each change is propagated to every page on which the template is used, which also delays changes that people are making to other templates from appearing. —Centrx→talk • 02:58, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Brain40, I noticed, (and are currently using), Image:Anti-Communist.png, an image you uploaded a long time ago, I was wondering, could you upload one of the Socialist red flag (Image:Red flag waving transparent.png) with a black "X" over it like in the anti-communist image? Get back to me when you can. Brain40 [talk] [contributions]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:KORQ-FM Logo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:KORQ-FM Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aksibot 16:59, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Good job on your recent edit to the Asheville article. It looked like Wally Bowen himself added that information. I had reverted a prior edit because it was much more POV/biased than the Wally's. ++Arx Fortis 19:19, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Fair use disputed for Image:KVCE 1160 AM Logo.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:KVCE 1160 AM Logo.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:31, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:KVVO 94.1 FM Logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:KVVO 94.1 FM Logo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. The file File:Rational Radio 1360 Logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Former logo of radio station KMNY. No longer serving the purpose specified in its rationale (no longer helping the reader identify the organization, nor assuring readers that they have reached the right article). Current use is WP:DECORATIVE.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ★ Bigr Tex 21:26, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
