Proposed collaboration on a close
I have noticed you do an excellent job of closing old discussions on WP:ANRFC. I have seen Talk:United_States_Senate_election_in_South_Dakota,_2016#Request_for_Comment:_Should_Kurt_Evans_be_listed_as_.22Failed_to_Qualify.22.3F listed for long time and was working on a close. After investigating, I see that it will have to be a difficult one, especially since the candidate is involved directly in the debate. This is probably why it has lingered. I think it needs an endorsed or multi-editor close, so the editor in question does not perceive it as one opinion, and I would like you to assist me. If I write up a proposed close and email it to you, would you then endorse it once posted? If this works for you, let me know and we can work out some process. I will probably also contact one or two other experienced closers with the same request. Thanks. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 15:51, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
- Eggishorn - thanks so much for your kind words and I think you're correct that it's past time it be closed. Also, a multi-editor close would be a great idea. Unfortunately, I was a participant in that RfC so it would be inappropriate for me to be one of those editors. If I can help in any other way, however, please do not hesitate to let me know. DarjeelingTea (talk) 16:36, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for your encouragement. I understand and appreciate your concerns, and I think they are well-placed. This has already been to ANI once, as I'm sure you know, so I certainly don't want to provide an excuse to bring it back there. Thanks again. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 16:52, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

- Still a MASSIVE backlog
We now have 805 New Page Reviewers but despite numerous appeals for help, the backlog has NOT been significantly reduced.

Discuss this newsletter here. If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself from the mailing list. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 15:35, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi DarjeelingTea. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! — MusikAnimal talk 03:13, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
