Rachel Albeck-Girdron

Hi Dardar! If you find you've made an error in the article title, don't simply copy it and paste into a new article: if you do that, the edit history of the original article will be lost. What you need to do in that situation is move the article. To do that, click on the 'move' tab at the top of the original article page and in the dialogue box that appears type the new name in the "move to" box; you don't have to give an explanation but it's better to do so -- just say "correcting article name" or something similar.

What happens then is that the entire page, edit history and all, is moved to the new page, while the old page is automatically converted into a redirect to the new page.

Very new editors can't move pages, they have to ask someone to do it for them, but I'm fairly sure you have reached the stage where the move option is available to you. In the same way, regular users (like you and I) can't delete pages: we have to ask an admin user to do it.

What I've done, to regularise the situation, is tagged the page under the new name to be deleted. I've explained that the deletion is to make way for a move and I hope whichever admin does the delete will also do the move. If not, you can do it yourself. If you have any questions, just ask. Proposed deletion of Rachel Albeck-Gidron

The article Rachel Albeck-Gidron has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of WP:PROF or WP:NAUTHOR, no citation of her work

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
