Welcome!

Hey, DannyBoi969, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions. I hope you like the site and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful (some of them may sound stupid, but I recommend you check them out):

While editing, please remember:

You should introduce yourself here at the new user log. I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name, the date, and the time.

For your first edits, I suggest searching for articles that you think might interest you. You could also be audacious and try a random page.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome and happy editing! Cbrown1023 01:40, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

American Continent

[edit]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to American Continent. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. If this was not nonsense, please explain why on the article's talk page and/or my talk page. Cbrown1023 18:27, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That articles would just carry redundant information of the other articles that are still here. It was nonsense at the times with that short line and now that you have explained your reasons, it will not add anything to the encyclopedia.
The only thing your article should serve as is a redirect to the Americas. Please check to see if the article you are creating exists in another place, with a different name. Cbrown1023 13:52, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please also sign your posts on talk pages using ~~~~. Cbrown1023 13:55, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Colombia article

[edit]

Thanks for your edits to Colombia, keep up the good work! Rosa 05:23, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

However, you should try to write in the WP:NPOV and not contribute original research. Cbrown1023 13:56, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you move Colombia to The Republic of Colombia? Per WP:MOS, one should not use definite articles where not a part of the name, and per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (places), one should use the common name, which is Colombia, not "Republic of Colombia". There is no need to disambiguate - there are no other countries or geographic subdivisions named "Colombia". Argyriou (talk) 20:22, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Test

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with the page Wikipedia:Five pillars on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. That page is a fundamental factor of Wikipedia, please do not edit it again without discussing your changes on the talk page. As you may have seen, your addition was reverted by another user. Hello, I am an administrator responding to a request for investigation. You seem to be a young editor and I'm glad you've joined the effort to build a better online encyclopedia. However, some of your edits have been problematic and could lead to user blocks (yes this post is a block warning from an administrator - but a friendly one). Rather than see you go that path, I suggest you visit Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User and request a mentor for some coaching. Wikipedia is open to editors of all ages and our most prolific contributor of featured articles is a teenager. Best wishes, Durova 00:54, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
