Barry O'Hanlon

[edit]

Please do not make personal attacks on other people as you did at Barry O'Hanlon. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. An editor has nominated Maria Immaculata Community College, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Maria Immaculata Community College and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Jayden54Bot 20:55, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Dolores Molloy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair City characters

[edit]

I saw you created some pages for characters from Fair City. The names don't seem to be correct, the contents seem to be copy pasted from another source (which is a copyright violation and not allowed). Can you please comment a bit more on your edits ? They seem highly inaccurate. --TheDJ (talkcontribsWikiProject Television) 13:21, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Giovanni.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Giovanni.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Giovanni.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Giovanni.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:36, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Aidan Power, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.rte.ie/tv/ttv/thecafe/presenter1.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Proposed deletion of Tim Carney

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Tim Carney, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No notability outside the show, no real world information (not even actor's name!), no references.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AFD nominations of Fair City character articles

[edit]

Hello. I have nominated a batch of Fair City characters' articles for deletion at Articles for deletion, some of which are articles that you started. Please feel free to take part in the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ali O'Shea, which is where they are all listed, and you are welcome to also edit any articles that you desire to, in order to address the concerns noted at the articles for deletion discussion. Merger proposals for Fair City characters

[edit]

Hello again, I have decided, after discussing with admin DGG that merger discussions would indeed be better than complete deletions for these articles, so I have withdrawn my deletion nominations for all characters in the meantime. I've started my merger proposal with the article for character Ali O'Shea, and the discussion has been started at the proposed target article's talk page, Talk:List of Fair City characters. I welcome your input in the matter; please reply here, in the interest of keeping all discussion in one place. Thanks in advance. Raven1977 (talk) 19:50, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Seamus McAleer has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable character. No references, no source, nothing.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Also:

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
