Black british history
[edit]Hello, Danlyndon, and welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Black british history, was recently speedily deleted because its content is clearly written to promote a company, product, or service. Keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and Wikipedia content must be neutral, not promotional. Feel free to ask me on my user talk page if you have any questions. Thank you. -- Merope Talk 19:32, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in International School of Toulouse. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. -- lucasbfr talk 19:01, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Re:No Title
[edit]This is not spamming, this is perfectly valid. I am not advertising anything. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Danlyndon (talk • contribs).
- Woops sorry at exactly the same time a spammer was advertising his blog on the same article :). I didn't follow your link. But why are you removing the school's official website to put an other one instead? -- lucasbfr talk 20:50, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- There is a situation at the school which needs to be resolved - how come you are looking at this entry? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Danlyndon (talk • contribs).
- External links are not to be used to push a certain point of view. You are however more than welcome to add some neutral, verifiable and factual information to ehance the article if you want. -- lucasbfr talk 21:33, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Danlyndon! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but please note that the link you added in is on my spam blacklist and should not be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an Imageshack or Photobucket image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was genuine spam, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 21:08, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and will be removed. Thanks. Shadowbot 21:24, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- This was caused by your addition of educationforum.ipbhost.com, not the link you mentioned. We have a blacklist rule that removes any links ending in host.com, which is fairly good at killing free hosting links, due to their generally non-notable status. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, though! Shadow1 (talk) 12:48, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
