This needs to be rewritten as an encyclopedia article with all statements referenced. This is written like a long admiring biographical obituary for a scientific society. Sentences like " Embarking on the train to Denmark, he bid farewell to his mother, fearing he would never see her again (a fear that came true)." need to be reduced to the basic facts. There are several similar long biographies that have been published. Use those as references.

Dan H. Yaalon

Your article is lovely and reminds me of the memoir that Silvan Schweber wrote for Stephan Berko, another Holocaust survivor. However on Wikipedia Yaalon needs a straightforward academic scientist article and it would very useful if you would write it. StarryGrandma (talk) 22:54, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
