Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Youn buck1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Youn buck1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 21:29, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Carry On (Chris Cornell album).jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Carry On (Chris Cornell album).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:13, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Album covers
Hi Daniil, I see that you resize a lot of album covers. I'm just wondering what program you use to do so. Thanks. Spellcast (talk) 09:36, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ok thanks for that. At the moment, I have IrfanView and BetterJPEG. I might try Fireworks MX. Just as long as you can resize without losing quality. Spellcast (talk) 13:56, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm assuming 100 is "best quality". Why not set it to 100 instead of 90? Spellcast (talk) 14:50, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well my parents are from Croatia and the Philippines with a bit of Spanish and Hungarian mixed in. But I grew up in Sydney and I'm nineteen. Hm, I should probably expand my userpage for this info. Spellcast (talk) 15:29, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Done. Although 240x240 is low resolution, it's not even being used which makes it redundant. Spellcast (talk) 00:48, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sure no problem. But I noticed you prefer the PA sticker. I think it's better without the sticker because it's not actually part of the original cover. I don't really mind either way, but would you still prefer the sticker version? Spellcast (talk) 05:09, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- I've deleted the old revisions. Do you want me to go through your upload log and delete unnecessary old versions? Spellcast (talk) 01:47, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Lil wayne.
Dude there is no carter 3 leak. have you even read the article —Preceding unsigned comment added by Trimy67 (talk • contribs) 04:27, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
The article mentions that lil wayne only spoke on it build up a hype for himself. It also states that Bbay would not want him to do that as it would push baby out of hte lime light of his new release Trimy67 (talk) 04:54, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Why shoudn't the ACTUAL title of the album be used as any other album? Just because it's used as a soundtrack there is no reason why not to use the real name. It's published with that title; just becaues it's uncommon and unpopular it doesn't make it wrong. Same as Diamonds from Sierra Leone by Kanye West for example, which is better known as Diamonds Are Forever. Do you want to change that as well? Udonknome (talk) 04:31, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

American Gangster
Hi, I was wondering why you think it's appropriate to have the album cover available at American Gangster (film). Considering that it's not a major enough album to warrant its own article, identifying a sub-topic in the film article only serves for identification purposes, which does not meet the criteria at WP:NFC. It's akin to putting up the DVD cover in the Home media section, and neither kind of cover serves any kind of true purpose. Unless you want to make a separate album article and have substantial content for the article to thrive on its own, I don't think it's necessary to decorate the article (especially redundantly) with aspects of a film's marketing. Are you really confident that it should belong? —Erik (talk • contrib) - 17:30, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
- According to WP:NFC#Acceptable images, cover art is only appropriate "for identification only in the context of critical commentary of that item (not for identification without critical commentary)". Basically, if there was something to say about the look of the cover art or something in the cover art, it could be included. However, it's doubtful that a redundant design from the film poster will have such critical commentary available. I'll remove it accordingly, but if you feel like there is a case for this cover's inclusion, don't hesitate to ask me. :) —Erik (talk • contrib) - 18:50, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Old revs
I deleted the old revs in your uploads. Also, I think the bot tagged Image:Eminem Infinite Cover.jpg because it's not enough to just give the URL. WP:FUC #10a says the copyright holder (which I'm assuming is the label) should be given if different from the URL. Spellcast (talk) 02:36, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:8milecover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:8milecover.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
