I'm back
[edit]I changed names, so if you konw me, please don't say. If the same culturally biased and sexist bunch of boys still control Wikipedia, and start insulting me again, I will leave for another two years. DanielaMarinache (talk) 22:25, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
TCM
[edit]Hi, Daniela. I noticed you working on the TCM page. It has been really heated this last week and many are trying to combat the bias of a certain editor. Please propose stuff on talk page before making any edits for a bit, and let a neutral editor try an make some sense out of the mess it has become. Hopefully we can then get some neutrality back into it. Thanks! Calus (talk) 23:22, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
- I am an experienced editor who left two years ago because of security reasons. I loathe censors of information, and will not sit by at talk while others censor anything, especially my own edits. Please don't try to bully me, because it will not work. DanielaMarinache (talk) 01:47, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- I am not trying to bully you, I am merely making you aware of the already volatile situation you are walking into. You page states that you are into cooking, so I suggest if you want to edit stuff on chinese herbs and cooking, you start a page on eastern nutrition. Culturally, Chinese people use many herbs in their food, but that is not TCM. I would be happy to help contribute on a eastern nutrition page, but quite frankly, I find your accusations about censorship of TCM to be disruptive. Thanks!Calus (talk) 04:35, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
- SoOrry, I had bullying experience in the past, so was oversensitive. I came in as an editor with the sole purpose of making fun of PPdd as a joke, because Ludwigs2 said PPdd had a fascination with the penis, and I had a good knowledge base from which to agree with Ludwigs2. But I decided to be serious when I saw what appeared to be censorship based on cultural narrow-mindedness. Most editors at WP are skeptics, but there is at least something to TCM, and use as daily food certainly is part of TCM. You are incorrect, in that doctors are only a very small part of TCM as used in China and where I am. Most of TCM is application of thousands of years of knowledge to daily cooking, daily drinks, and home preparations, daily excercise, etc. I even put a RS on this in the article in the lead, so if you don't believe me, verify for yourself. - No problem, I can understand how previous experiences leads one to overreact. It seems to be going around. I'm sorry if I came across as a bully. While I agree that what you eat is medicine, unfortunately, that is not the common consensus. I still think use of TCM herbs in cooking would be better served with its own article on eastern nutrition. Calus (talk) 00:46, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
